Steven served both as Assistant District Attorney and as Defense Counsel, and has held Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Rating since 2016. This is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards by both members of the Bar and Judiciary, representing the pinnacle of professional excellence. Steven has earned the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal for meritorious service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Army Commendation Medal for exceptional meritorious service during combat operations.

Also remembering Charles DiBenedetto (April 24, 1925 - February 3, 2025) loving husband,

father, grandfather and good friend of Good Counsel’s pregnant mothers and babies. Charles’s

centennial birthday will be celebrated quite fittingly at this dinner dance to help fund a new

Good Counsel home across Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island.
