Leah is the author of The Dignity of Dependence, as well as Arriving at Amen and Building the Benedict Option. She grew up as an atheist on Long Island and was received into the Church shortly after college. She works on family policy in Washington, D.C. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and elsewhere. She runs the substack Other Feminisms, a substack community focused on advocating for women in a world that makes an idol of autonomy.

Michele Sterlace-Accorsi graduated magna cum laude from New York University. While a mother of four young children, Michele completed her Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law, cum laude, with a concentration in Law and Social Justice. ​Michele began her legal career as a trial attorney for those seeking custody of abused and neglected children. She continued this work at the Children’s Legal Center in Buffalo, serving as a children’s attorney. Michele advanced her studies by attending the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. While a student at Pepperdine, she worked in the U.S. District Court, WNY as a Confidential Judicial Law Clerk for the Chief Justice. She also assisted the mediation program director with prisoner rights cases and other civil litigation for the disenfranchised. In 2017, she graduated with a Master of Laws LLM, High Honors, from Pepperdine. Michele is the paradigm of a pro-life feminist, a role model for equal opportunities for the poor, for women and their children, born and unborn

Clare works to foster relationships with Young America’s Foundation’s most committed supporters, drafts and edits communications, and helps students attending Catholic schools to advance conservative ideas on campus.

Clare was raised on Long Island, New York, where her parents instilled her with the Catholic faith and conservative values from an early age. In 2012, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Catechetics from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Before coming to Young America’s Foundation, Clare worked as the administrative assistant to the general counsel at Americans United for Life. She has also served as the host of the third season of the television program Booked on ShalomWorld TV, was a fellow with the Leonine Forum for the 2021-2022 session, and serves on the advisory board for the Franciscan University Homeland Mission in Washington D.C.

Celeste was born and raised on Long Island. Celeste got her feet wet in the pro-life movement by assisting her mother volunteer at Long Island Birthright and joining many Washington D.C. March for Life trips. Celeste participated in Operation Rescue, a pro-life non-violent civil disobedience movement, in the 1980/1990s, and she currently sidewalk counsels outside abortion businesses. She volunteered as Treasurer of the Long Island Coalition for Life and is currently Nassau County Vice-Chair of the LICL. Among her pro-life activities, Celeste coordinates public witness events and sets up pro-life booths at street fairs and health fairs for the LICL. Celeste has been interviewed by high school and college students on abortion and is particularly interested in building a pro-life youth movement on LI.

Celeste earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Kansas after completing an Associate of Arts degree at Nassau Community College and Bachelor of Science degree from C.W. Post. She completed the National Catholic Bioethics Center’s National Catholic Certification Program in Health Care Ethics.

Lori is the former senior congressional liaison for the department of medical ethics for National Right to Life and as such has lobbied Congress on abortion, euthanasia, cloning, health care rationing, and other pro-life and First Amendment issues. She has conducted seminars and has spoken on life issues at conventions, seminars, and debates across the United States, throughout Australia and in Canada. She also served for 15 years on the National Right to Life board of directors. She is the former education director for the Right to Life League of Southern California.

Lori has appeared on C-SPAN, CNN and Fox News programs, America’s Voice, and other television and radio programs nationwide. She has been quoted in the New York Times, Associated Press, Daily News, the Los Angeles Times, and numerous other newspapers across the nation. Lori is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo. She and her wonderful husband, Marty, have a fabulous 20-year-old, Rowan Blessing, and two precious little ones in Heaven.
